The Highland Center, a masterfully renovated 1920’s school building is a refreshing alternative to traditional event spaces. Nestled away in the western highlands of Virginia, our mountain views and fresh air give guests a sense of peace and relaxation.

The Highland Center boasts a large auditorium space, a double conference room as well as a smaller board room for more intimate gatherings. Working with our staff at The Highland Center, we will customize a special event package just for you.

The Highland Center accelerates the successful development of small businesses and non-profits through support services, resources, affordable space and networking opportunities.
The Highland Center offers a variety of office space and business development resources to fit local needs. We offer both long term and short term options for our personal office spaces, co-working space, and commercial kitchen.

In addition to space we also offer SCORE business counseling and access to our business resource library to our tenants as well as any others in the area looking to start a business or improve their existing one.
Have you thought about opening your own business or are you looking for ways to improve or expand your existing business?

The Highland Center offers free and confidential business counseling each month, with professional counselors through SCORE and the Small Business Development Center. Counselors will help you develop a business plan and fine-tune your marketing, financial and overall business operation skills.
