Local Food
The Highland Farmers’ Market, started by The Highland Center in 1998, is a producer-driven market, selling items that are grown in the Allegheny Highlands. The Market accepts Debit, Credit, and SNAP benefits and is open on Fridays, 3:30 to 6 pm from the end of May through early October.
For a full calendar and more information, visit our Farmers' Market web page or the Farmers’ Market facebook page. If you have additional questions write to Jen Rattigan at programs@thehighlandcenter.org or call 540-468-1922.
Commercial Kitchen
The Highland Center's full-service, commercially-certified kitchen makes it easy to host food based events or for local food entrepreneurs to get off the ground. Equipment includes a walk-in freezer, commercial mixer, pH meter, 6-burner stove, and convection oven.

Food Events & Workshops
Throughout the year, The Highland Center hosts a number of meals and events promoting local products and producers including the Taste of Highland. We also hold workshops and classes focused on health, nutrition, growing, and preserving food.
