Have you ever eaten a Dilly Bean in January? Could you taste summer with every bite? Come learn how to make and can pickles and homemade tomato sauce using fresh ingredients at the Highland Center on Thursday, August 8 at 7 pm. Certified by the Better Processing School, Community Kitchen Manager Sarah Collins will teach safe canning practices and the reasons behind the methods. A $5 fee covers material costs and all participants will take home a jar of tomato sauce and dilly bean pickles!
