Want to be able to open a jar of summer all year long? Come learn the ins-and-outs of making delicious canned jams and jellies at home from whole fruits at The Highland Center on Thursday, July 25 at 7 pm. Community Kitchen Manager Sarah Collins is certified by the Better Processing School and will teach safe canning practices and the reasons behind the methods. A $5 fee covers material costs and all participants will get a jar of jam and jelly to take home!
